The photo was taken with a ZWO 294mc dedicated astroimaging camera mounted on a Celestron 9.25 Edge Telescope Reflector Telescope. The image consists of 102 x 120-second sub-exposures.
The sub-exposures were stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop.
I imaged IC 1396a (Elephant Trunk Nebula) over three evenings at my observatory located in Northern Lower Michigan.
