One of the most dramatic feature on this planet is the rugged cliffs of the Na Pali Coast. Many diehard hikers brave the 11 mile journey from Haena to Kalalau Beach. But the true beauty of the cliffs can only be appreciated from the air. This photo shows the colorful volcanic sediments in contrast with the sparse greenery. For those who will brave the often rough ocean currents, can swin from Kalalau to Honopu, where they are greeted by an arch. The beach here is also finer and whiter. Some will also visit by boat. Have you done the Kalalau Trail?
