I was excited about the thought of capturing the Blue Supermoon, especially on my wedding anniversary. I waited for the clouds to clear as it rose, but no luck. I wanted to capture it later, especially at the exact moment of the full moon, defined as the point at which it is 180 degrees from the sun. The Blue Moon was opposite the sun at 9:36 pm EDT. Unfortunately there was still cloud coverage (of course it was completely clear to the west!). It was still beautiful.
