Image Details:

I headed out to Egypt's Western Desert this weekend in order to witness and capture my first Meteor shower from a Bortle 1 location.
After cramming the 4×4 with my full gear of astrophotography we headed out to the desert for a spectacular 2 night adventure under pristine dark skies and breath taking landscapes.

The image was a time blend, where the foreground was shot during blue hour and the sky was a stacked image of 199 frames (total exposure of 99.5mins). of which, 10 frames included meteors from the Perseid shower. I managed to capture a couple more metoers in frame, but they were of a different origin than the Perseid and I chose to exclude them from the image.
