Equipment Details:

Canon 5Dsr, 400mm f2.8 lens with a 1.4 extender. exposure 12 sec f4. Camera was secured to a tripod.

Post-processing Details:

Photoshop to lighten shadows and balance highlights. Slight crop to level and make smaller.

Image Details:

Sturgeon Supermoon taken from Cayuga Lake State Park looking across the lake. Using a telephoto lens, in this case a 400mm with a 1.4 extender compresses the background and the foreground to give you a larger image of the moon. It was the perfect night here in Upstate New York with clear skies.
