This Mourning Dove was sitting on a limb right outside my dining room window...waiting for the Starlings to cease and desist their riotous behavior below her. The Starlings were "all in", devouring all the seeds on the ground, feeders and suet. Their feeding frenzy lasted 15-20 minutes and then the peaceable birds flew down from the trees to eat any leftovers. It's pretty obvious the Dove could see me moving in the window while taking pictures. Non-threatening, slow moves kept me from startling the Dove and getting the shots.
