What an incredible night of aurora! We don't often get overhead lights at this latitude. I was all set up to shoot a landscape with some foreground interest—frozen puddles and tracks on a still-frozen lake—when the action erupted overhead. Thanks EarthSky for posting the heads-up. Tonight it was exactly that!
