Taken in broad daylight, Venus exhibits a gibbous 80% illuminated face with a lower left convexity towards the Sun. The aspect will change dramatically in the following months until inferior conjunction ocurring at mid august, when the planet will be a very thin 0,9% illuminated crescent 4 times bigger than present size; at conjunction, Venus will be 8° south of the Sun so prone to be photographed taking appropiate precautions
