Equipment Details:

Tripod-mounted and hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in night scenery and sunset modes.

Post-processing Details:

Compilation of montage of 2 photos taken at 6.58 pm on 28th February and 6.38 pm on 3rd March.

Image Details:

Venus and Jupiter approaching before and separating after conjunction.
The close conjunction between Venus and Jupiter was obscured from view in Mutare by cloud on 1st and 2nd March. On 3rd March cloud had cleared sufficiently to allow just two brief views a few seconds apart of Venus separating from Jupiter at 6.38 pm. The accompanying montage shows Venus approaching Jupiter at 6.58 pm on 28th February and the pair separating at 6.38 pm on 3rd March.
