The inset image was captured with a Canon EOS 5Ds and a Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary. The background photo was taken with an iPhone 11 Pro.

This composite was assembled using Affinity Photo.

Image Details:

This evening the two brightest planets in our skies, Venus and Jupiter, appeared 29.4′ apart. While clouds got in the way, it was still a stunning pairing. Despite planetary detail being lost to the clouds, three of Jupiter's moons, Io, Ganymede, and Callisto, were visible.
