Driving north from Winnipeg to home in Sandy Hook, MB, sunset was brilliant then the moon and planets emerged in the glow. I stopped on my home road to take this but by the time I actually got home the sky had really darkened and the sight of these three objects against a deep deep blue/black sky was possibly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in the night sky (in at least 60 years of observing). I phoned all my farm neighbours to get out there and LOOK!
