I was out trying to take Milky Way Photos this morning (2/27/23) and I kept getting a red strip in my pics. Tried different lenses, etc, still a red strip. Thought the camera was broken. Then I realized, while experimenting, that the strip went across the entire sky. This must be like an Aurora Borealis due to the current sun activity. At my low latitude (39 deg) it was only visible with the camera. I was all upset my camera was broken but with some investigation I got a big surprise! It was a great reminder to keep thinking and not to get upset. So this is my first photo for the start of this year's Milky Way season.
