Equipment Details:

Sony a7ii, Rokinon 24 mm, tripod.

Post-processing Details:

Cropped. Single 5 second exposure on M setting with 3 second timer on a tripod. Camera settings - 5 seconds, f/5.6, ISO 640.

Image Details:

Facing west, I captured Venus setting over the Butterfield mountains with Jupiter above following suit. The aircraft capture was intentional. If you look closely, you can see 5 red strobe lights, one per second, during my 5 second exposure. Mainly, I just wanted to get the "rust" off shooting at night with the Milky Way season upon us. The new moon phase right now is getting snowed on for next few days so no Astrophotography besides this moment until next month.
