I have one thing to say to the Northern Lights this morning: "Aurora, you FOOLED me! How can I ever trust you again???" 😆

The predicted and much anticipated G2 Aurora Borealis did not show up last night as scheduled. Best laid plans! But I can always trust the stars to be there for me. And that is fine compensation! Here the brightest two stars on my northern horizon, Capella with Menkalinan to its left (west), complement a splendid view of the constellation Cassiopeia. Our resident night cloud shadow (cast by a power plant tower many miles distant) also made an eerily beautiful appearance.
