Early morning waning crescent moon setting. Before leaving for work I stepped out on my front porch at 630 AM and saw Scorpius rising in the south. Antares was above Steep Mountain and seeing it got me excited about our upcoming galactic core of the Milky Way season coming soon! Antares is the heart of the scorpion and also part of the Rho Ophiuchi Complex. Just 30 more days to see the Milky Way!!!
