Tweaked exposure and noise reduction

I knew an aurora was expected last night. But our many days of cloudy skies and mixed wintry precipitation left me little hope of seeing this one. Even so, when I awoke after midnight, I decided to take a peek out the window. Sure enough, nature's most glorious light show was center stage!

This was the tail end of the display; the peak was earlier, and I hadn't looked! But we had an hour together, Lady Aurora and I. As she concluded her performance and faded away, I counted myself lucky to have had gotten a last minute ticket.

I hope for a front seat for when the next curtain rises!
