On February 11, 2023 the sun blasted a X1.1 flare. The explosion started at 15:40 UTC, peaked at 15:48 UTC and ended at 15:54 UTC. This photo was taken at sunset in Oslo at 15:48 UTC at the time when the event of X1.1 flaring was ongoing. Sunspots can be seen on the zoom-in photo of the sun with some more detail.
