This is a Dark Eyed Junco and is of the Oregon variation which is common in the western US. They fly into my year and land in the Boxwood shrub beneath the bird feeders. Being birds of the ground, they are constantly zipping around the area where the seeds have fallen snapping them up then back under the shrubbery. Very busy little birds. Patience required to get a clear shot.
