At around 5 a.m. on January 31, the horizontal Milky Way rose from the eastern horizon in early spring, with the upright constellation Scorpius at the right. Mercury, near the Greatest Western Elongation, also rose at the same time and was just below the center of the Milky Way. The landscape below is Taiwan's famous high mountain - black Chilai Mountain.
