Post-processing Details:

GIMP: rotate micromoon, create composite image, sharpen, desaturate.

Image Details:

Two images of the Moon taken about 7 months apart to show the difference in apparent size at perigee (closest approach) and apogee (furthest). The images have also been rotated to present them with similar orientations to allow examination of the lunar limb where it can be seen that, due to libration, the Moon presents a slightly different face to the Earth on each of these occasions.
