Image Details:

Every day I like to spend time out in the sun, even if it's only around the house, and lately I've been spotting dragonflies. Today, this one (most likely a damselfly) just came into my garage, landing high upon a wall. The photo is just a simple close-up made with a handheld phone, which turned out better than expected. I have recently seen some outstanding dragonfly submissions here in EarthSky Community Photos (ECP), mostly by Barry Medlin and Steve Price, who I both acknowledge as an inspiration for this kind of work.
