An opportunity to image the Milky Way core which was high in the sky during load shedding (interruption of electricity supply) resulting in a darker sky at the time of the photograph. The Lower Silvermine Wetlands is a picturesque urban nature reserve - a green belt situated between Fish Hoek and Clovelly.
