Equipment Details:

Nikon D850, Nikon 14-24 @ 14mm, ISO 200 to 6400, f/9, 5 sec

Post-processing Details:

I blended 6 separate exposures for the sky and foreground. I used StarSpikes on the planets and also on the Pleiades (7 Sisters – Messier 45) star cluster. I added labels to all of the planets and the star cluster. The Moon was bright enough to provide its own spikes in the camera and had a thin cloud in front giving it more character.

Image Details:

Found an elevated view in Helotes, TX to capture this super-wide view of a 19% illuminated waning crescent Moon, the Pleiades star cluster and 5 planets during Nautical Twilight, 55 minutes before sunrise. I blended 6 separate exposures for the sky and foreground to capture the full dynamic range.
