At this time of the year many eagles start hanging around the Cohoes Falls (on the Mohawk River) to fish and sit in trees. You can see the juveniles & immatures, all with different stages of plumage and coloring, tussling in the air (sometimes fighting, sometimes playing). This eagle appears to be about 2 1/2 years old.
