Image Details:

a shrinking strawberry Moon highlights conspicuous craters close to the terminator (left limb) : Endymion at 8 o'clock, the remarkable Crisium basin at 9, Langrenus at 10 and Petavius at 11 o'clock, both with prominent central peaks, plus the tall mountains seen in profile at top of the Moon which belong to the rim of farside SPA basin. Nice ride indeed !
