Equipment Details:

Nikon Z7II with Nikon 200-500mm zoom lens, at 360mm for this shot

Image Details:

It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's SUPERMOON! Image taken on Monday the 13th, with the supermoon rising over Alcatraz Island in the San Francisco Bay and a plane leaving the San Francisco airport caught in silhouette, while a line of birds fly over Alcatraz (the name of which is often thought to come from the Spanish word for pellican). The supermoon did not disappoint this June in San Francisco, where two clear nights allowed ample viewing of the spectacularly big bright and low lunar disk.
