Post-processing Details:

25 individual meteor streaks were captured in a group of 200 photos, taken over a period of 68 minutes. Each photo was developed in Lightroom, then imported as layers into Photoshop for alignment re-orientation to the base image, and meteor streaks were revealed using inverse masking.

Image Details:

Composite of 25 meteor streaks captured over 68 minutes during the May 31st Tau Herculid meteor shower. The photograph was taken on the boardwalk of the Spruce Bog hiking trail in Algonquin Provincial Park, an excellent dark sky region of Ontario Canada. Although the potential meteor "storm" did not transpire, there were numerous short meteor streaks visible under the dark sky to provide good viewing entertainment.
