Though its sharp loud call of “people pray,people pray ”is often heard in the wild, it’s the first time for me to capture a Chinese Bamboo Partridge with its beautifully colored feathers. I encountered it last Sunday in a hilly forest in Haiyan County, Zhejiang Province, China.This bird is an absolute marvel to see.
