On April 13, at 8:26 AM EDT a halo appeared around the sun, also known as a "22 degree halo" formed by ice crystals in Cirrus clouds that refract light in the upper troposphere. I was amazed to see that a similar image was taken on the same day (6:30 AM EDT) by Peter in N Attleboro MA; a town about 40 miles NW of Wareham.
