Dawn was quickly approaching and this was one of the last images captured of the Milky Way as the eastern sky brightened. Venus, Saturn and Mars are already up and visible in the lower left. In my latitude the earth rotation speed is about 750 MPH / 1207 KPH ...so times really does fly by. At the equator I think it's more like 1,000 MPH.
