Image Details:

Young Moon Setting Alongside Volcanic Sunset Display.
On Sunday evening (April 3rd) the still young 5% illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon was photographed descending alongside a receding volcanic sunset twilight arch with magnificent radiating crepuscular rays between 6.00 & 6.10 pm as shown in the accompanying still image and x40 speed video frame time-lapse animation to follow as a Disqus comment. Volcanic sunrises and sunsets produced by stratospheric aerosols from the Hunga-Tonga eruption on 15th January continue to be observed almost daily from Zimbabwe and other countries in Southern Africa.
