Waterton Glacier International Peace Park—the world's first International Peace Park was formed in 1932 when Waterton Lakes National Park (AB, Canada) was combined with the Glacier National Park (Montana, USA).
Today was a rare event on the Waterton side. But on this day, in a place where average daily winds are 20 mph, and not uncommonly settle in at 75 mph, there was not a breath of wind. The glass-like surface revealed the lake bottom's gorgeous stones.
