Equipment Details:

Celestron 150mm XLT f/5 reflector, ZWO ASI533MC Pro camera with Optolong L-Pro filter, SkyWatcher EQ6R Pro mount.

Post-processing Details:

21 4-minute lights plus calibration frames were stacked using ImagesPlus; other post-processing used Photoshop CS2 plus Astronomy Tools plugin, StarNet++ v2, and PhotoScape X.

Image Details:

The Needle Galaxy (NGC 4565) is a fine example of an edge-on spiral galaxy that is located in the constellation Coma Berenices. It is about 30 million light years from Earth. Several other distant galaxies are visible in this image.
