It's been a long, cold, never ending winter here in Minnesota. One of the first 50° F days brings the fields to life. I spotted several northern harriers hunting a wheat field in the sunshine. They are skilled and persistent hunters. Their owl like facial features allow them to hear prey below the grass. A great day with the camera! Happy Spring everyone!
