Parhelic circle、22° Circular halo and Circumscribed halo
On March 16th, I was on the top of the 2300-meter Jhenshan trail near Hsinchu, and I encountered beautiful ice halos near noon! At that time, the altitude of the sun was about 60°. First I saw the 22° circular halo and the circumscribed halo, and even more surprising is the super-strong 9° halo (previous post). Later, I found that there are some white arcs outside the 22° halo. If you look closely, it turns out to be a parhelic circle passing through the sun! These beautiful halos seem to herald the coming of halo season, which is full of anticipation.
