Slight increases in contrast and saturation and slight crop

Image Details:

This was one of the last photos taken of the morning’s moonset. This is definitely in my top ten most coolest sky events I have had the amazing pleasure to witness!!

This effect is caused by atmospheric distortion that is more prevalent as the sun or moon is at or moving towards or away the horizon due to the added layers of atmosphere that we are looking through.
