Comet Leonard was visible just before dawn from near Gordonsville, Virginia where I set up my astrophotography gear at 4am. The comet was barely visible to the naked eye, but was beautiful through the telephoto lens! I spent two hours shooting this scene, while the air temperature dropped to 17 degrees F.
