Image Details:

I took this image of the Waning Crescent Moon down the street from my home before sunrise this morning on December 2, 2021. When I checked the image in the camera I thought the bright white spot to the right of the moon might have been the planet Venus. But when I checked your page regarding what planets were visible today and at what times, I learned that my assumption was incorrect. However, I was delighted to learn when I consulted with your website that the bright white spot I saws was in fact the Star Zubenelgenubi! I learned it was visible one hour before sunrise on December 2nd in the Southeast near the Waning Crescent Moon which is exactly where I saw it. Thank you for providing this information on your website which I am very excited to share with several moon groups I belong to on Facebook.
