A Taurid meteor sweeps past Mercury. The meteor’s trajectory took it down into the grey clouds to the left, and then it disappeared into the rising sun’s light. I wasn’t expecting this kind of celestial event as it was already 35 minutes to dawn, and having never seen a meteor journeying across the sky before, I was all the more thrilled and moved by this truly beautiful experience.
