Venus dipping into the western horizon. That's how big it appears at an altitude of 2 degrees. This image was taken in total darkness near a campsite. The western sky was still lit by the afterglow of sunset. You can see a bright Saturn in the southern sky (left edge of the image). It was great to have one last Fall weather day to do some outdoor skygazing.
