The spouting horn in downtown Depoe Bay shoots up a dramatic towering spray during the King Tide today. A spouting horn is a small sea cave with an opening at the top. When a big powerful wave of the Pacific Ocean crashes into the cave the water is forced through the opening as a big spray, accompanied by a loud hiss.
