November City Lights. Today I was lucky enough to catch sight of Venus (brightest, lower right), Jupiter (second brightest, upper left) and Saturn (centre) following the ecliptic across the night sky, just before they disappeared behind some high-rise residential buildings. As you can see, light pollution can be intense in Hong Kong, but the planets were certainly holding their own on this night, and I was grateful for the moment. It seemed a little sad that the people on the bridge seemed unaware of the natural wonder unfolding high above them, but their presence added to the atmosphere of this photo.
