Nikon D500 dslr with Nikkor 200-500 mm F/5.6 lens and Thousand Oaks Optical solar filter for Sun photos.
Photo taken every day from 6 Oct 2021 until 4 Nov 2021 and contact sheet of all photos aligned by day. The Sun phots were substituted since a New Moon is very hard to photograph since it is very close to the Sun in alignment. Please not the Sunspots.
I try to get a clear photo of the Moon for each day of the month weather permitting. I was lucky that most of Oct. and early Nov. had periods of clear sky each day. Several photos were taken during the daylight and adjusted with brightness and contract adj. to render a dark sky view.
