Image Details:

The waning crescent moon at 19.7% illuminated and had risen in the wee hours of the morning. It was a cloudy day today, and as the sunrise could not be seen, it gives me the opportunity to picture the moon which is not possible at 7.20 am if there is a sun glare. It was already past 40 mins after the sunrise , and the moon was still visible at its crescent phase. Within minutes I was no longer able to see it when the day had become brighter and rain clouds form soon after. The moon disc could still be seen vaguely and everything in the picture looks blue including the moon. Not a rare sight though, but to me each moon is different every day !
