The image was colourized and adjusted using Affinity Photo.
The Sun in white light shows a good assortment of sunspots, including 2887, which erupted with a major X1 solar flare on October 28, 2021. I'm expecting that the coronal mass ejection launched from that flare will spark some impressive auroral displays.
