Image Details:

Our neighbour, Andromeda Galaxy or M31 is the nearest major galaxy from earth. It is located at a distance of 2.5 million light years. That means in this image, we are observing an event which happened 2.5 million years ago. It is the most distant object that an unaided human eyes can see from earth.
I have captured this image from a heavily light pollution area (Bortle 9 sky). We can also see two satellite galaxies (M32 & M110) of M31 in this image.
