It was the International Observe the Moon Night 2021 and took this picture from my place here in Singapore of the waxing gibbous moon. the moon was about 83.3% full and was 386, 169 km away from Earth when I photographed it. During this phase the moon mare and craters are clearly seen as observed from a telescope or specialised equipment. As for myself I had use the point to shoot camera which can capture the moon in detail. The skies were clear though a lunar corona soon form after.
