Image Details:

One of my goals has been to capture a Northern Harrier. It is a distinctive hawk with an owl-like facial disk that allows it to hunt by sound as well as sight. So I was very thrilled when I saw this one hunting, out in a big field, while I was on a quiet walk. Especially when we had eye contact.
