The southwest night sky after the blue hour has passed but still within the astronomical twilight. Jupiter and Saturn are the brightest celestial objects. Altair shines bright. Altair (Alpha Aquilae) is a first magnitude star, the brightest star in the constellation Aquila The Eagle. Sadalsuud (Beta Aquarii) is the brightest star in the constellation Aquarius. A few of the stars in Aquarius-the water jug and pouring water- are hidden behind the trees. Aquarius is one of the largest and oldest constellations in the sky. There are 5 meteors captured by the camera. A clear magical night after days and days of rain, clouds and fog.
