Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine commemorated the successful 1814 defense of Baltimore against the British navy & subsequent writing of the words to the US National Anthem with a first-ever luminaria walk. 1213 luminaria - 1 for each 1814 defender of the Fort. You can see the giant reproduction Star-Spangled Banner over the star-fort to the left of the Orpheus statue.
